with Healing the Wounds of History Master Teacher and Therapist, Armand Volkas and Anishnaabe Artist,Educator, Cultural Teacher and Residential School Survivor, Victoria Guimond. This special program offering, Decolonizing through the Arts: Deepening the Reconciliation Dialogue, will run from September 27th-October 1, 2017 allowing 15 Indigenous and 15 non-Indigenous participants the opportunity to build relationships, share understanding and experience, and develop skills. Indigenous world views, including the use of the land as a teaching tool, will be shared. This workshop will take place in nature and accommodations will be modest in cost. Participants in the workshop, are welcome but not obligated to stay for the conference the following week and will also have the opportunity to experience Nuit Blanche, the foremost community arts extravaganza in Winnipeg the evening of Saturday, September 30, 2017.
